Rosebud Junior Open

Anthony Marchesani produced an even par 71 to win the Rosebud Country Club Junior Open this week.

A member at Rosebud for several years, the 17 Year old proved he is ine of Victoria's best up and coming players, beating a number of star golfers from across the state.

Talented Kingswood golfer Su-Hyun Oh, playing of plus twoposted the best score for the girls with a 73.

The Girl's  handicap trophy went to Tayla Strauss from Long Island with a nett score of 69 playing of 9 while 10 year old Soo Bin Park 8 handicapper from Kingswood was runner up with a nett 70.

Sean Delgorge from Kooringal had the best nett score for the boys with a 67 playing off 10. Delgorge also won the Betty Hebb Perpetual Trophy.

The Boy's stableford event was won by Hugh Besley from Southernwith 35 points on a count back from Han Jang from Long Island.

The Best score in the Girl's Stableford was Danielle Hu from Kingswood scoring 40 points with Bryanna Armao of Yarra Yarra runner up on 35.

This year's tournament attracted golfers from more than 24 golf cubs, with players travelling from Orbost, Marlo and even Indonesia.
