Australian Men’s Senior Match Play Championship

Entries are now open for the 2010 Australian Men’s Senior Match Play Championship to be held at Thirteenth Beach Golf Links from 25-29 October.

A Super Senior Section (players aged 65 years and over) is also included. NB. A player aged 65 years and over may CHOOSE whether he wishes to contest the main Championship or the Super Senior Section of the Championship. Players contesting the Super Senior Section do not accrue points for the Australian Men’s Senior Ranking System.

Entries will not be finalised until 27 September, and only the entries from those leading 32 players (and 8 Super Seniors) will be processed at that time.

N.B. Please note that once a player has been eliminated from the main championship, they are not permitted to withdraw from subsequent rounds unless on the receipt of a medical certificate, or in exceptional circumstances (as determined by the Championship Play Committee). Any player withdrawing from the Championship for a non-approved reason may have their entry into the 2011 Australian Men’s Senior Amateur Championship declined.
