Junior CampsThe VGA conducts two State-level junior camps each year, one held in the Easter school holidays and the second held in the July school holiday break. The camps are held at Mirboo North Golf Club over a full week with accommodation at the Victorian Golf League Motel which is on a site adjoining the golf course. Each camp is restricted to 36 participants who receive intensive game assessment, coaching and course management tuition from State coaches. The coaching is supported with sports science exposure, personal development activities and competition play. Application forms are provided to all District Associations and clubs. A further junior camp for boys is conducted at Mirboo North by the Victorian Golf League during the September school holiday break.
