Stephen Spargo AM
 

Stephen Spargo AM (President)

Stephen Spargo has spent most of his professional career as a commercial law specialist.

Stephen worked for 42 years at international firm Allens, prior to his retirement in 2016 when he set up his own legal practice.

Stephen has also been involved with the Mitre 10 Australia Limited group of companies (former independent director), The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria Limited (former Chairman), Asia Society AustralAsia Centre (former director), Melbourne Cricket Club (former Vice-President), Committee for the Economic Development of Australia (director), The Florey Institute for Neuroscience and Mental Health (director), Cormack Foundation Pty Ltd (director) and Foundation for Australia-Japan Studies (director).

Stephen has been a director of Golf Victoria since 2014 and its Chairman and President since May 2016. He is a member at Barwon Heads Golf Club and Royal Melbourne Golf Club and has been a member at The Commonwealth Golf Club for 47 years or so.

 

Alison McCaig
 

Alison McCaig (Vice President)

Alison McCaig is a highly experienced hospitality executive, most recently the General Manager – Leisure Services at RACV, leaving her responsible for the development and delivery of strategies, systems and processes 10 properties in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania.

Alison oversaw RACV's golf strategy which included the innovative RACV Golf Membership program, the Auto Club Golf Championship, and sponsorship of the Australian PGA Championship and the Ladies Masters at Royal Pines. 

Alison is a memer of Golf Victoria's Match and Finance, Audit and Risk Management committees, is a member at Peninsula Kingswood in Melbourne’s south and plays off a handicap of five.

 
 

Peter Nash

 

Peter Nash (Finance Director)

Peter Nash has 31 years’ experience in the consulting and financial services sector with KPMG. He brings global experience and credibility in Audit and has specialised in serving some of Australia’s largest corporates across the Energy and Natural Resources sector.

Peter commenced with KPMG in 1993, stepping into his current role as National Chairman in 2011. He also serves as a member of KPMG’s Global and Regional Boards. Prior to this, Peter has held titles with KPMG including Regional Head of Audit for Asia Pacific and National Managing Partner for Audit in Australia.

Peter is chairman of Golf Victoria's Finance, Audit and Risk Management committee. He has been a member at Barwon Heads Golf Club for the past four years.

 

Ross Anderson
 

Ross Anderson

Ross Anderson took up the game as a 14-year-old junior member at Mornington Golf Club, eventually graduating as a PGA member in 1993 after an apprenticeship at Woodlands Golf Club.

He was appointed as Metropolitan Golf Club’s Head professional a year later, but made a career switch to banking and finance in 2006 and is currently a Director (Relationship Manager) at Westpac's Institutional Bank.

 

Luci Bryce
 

Luci Bryce

After practising as a solicitor, Luci Bryce joined the US PGA TOUR as a tournament manager where she was involved in ten major tournaments around the world, including the Presidents Cup, World Cup of Golf and World Golf Championships.

Luci then joined the AFL’s Broadcasting & Major Projects team, before joining the Victorian Major Events Company.

Luci is now at Signature Sport, a boutique sports management company which manages the careers of athletes and broadcasters such as Cadel Evans, Ashton Agar and Gerard Whateley.

 

Mark Dunstan New
 

Mark Dunstan

Mark Dunstan is a qualified Chartered Account and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Mark began his career at Arthur Andersen in the Tax Consulting Divisionbefore moving to Linfox Group where he eventually became General Manager, Legal and Tax. In 1995, Mark started his own Chartered Accountant practice, JM Dunstan.

Mark has been a regular lecturer at the University of Melbourne for their Masters of Law program on the subject of Tax Aspects of Intellectual Property.

Mark has also held administrative positions at Elsternwick Cricket Club, the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association and Cricket Victoria.

He is currently a member of Golf Victoria’s Finance Audit & Risk Management Committee and a State level referee.

Mark is a member of Spring Valley Golf Club in Melbourne's south-east.

 

Dorothy Hisgrove
 

Dorothy Hisgrove

Dorothy Hisgrove‘s current role is Chief Human Resources Manager with PWC, making her responsible for the organisation’s Human Capital Strategy.

Previously, Dorothy was a member of the AFL Executive and the General Manager People, Customer and Community at the AFL. In her time there, Dorothy was instrumental in establishing the AFLW and achieving record female participation numbers across the country.

Dorothy also has experience with senior management roles with Australia Post, National Australia Bank and BHP Billiton.

 

Cindy McLeish
 

Cindy McLeish

Cindy McLeish MP is the inaugural State Member for Eildon, after winning the 2014 election in the new electorate. Prior to that, Cindy was elected as the Member for Seymour in the 2010 Victorian State election.

Cindy graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Education and is a registered psychologist.

Cindy served as the CEO of Women’s Golf Victoria for a number of years.

 

David Shilbury
 

David Shilbury

Prof. David Shilbury is currently the Director of the Deakin Sport Network after a long career at Deakin University, including positions as Head of the School of Management and Marketing and Associate Dean in the Faculty of Business and Law.

He is a former member of the Victorian Sports Council and AFL Tribunal, as well as a board member of the Confederation of Australian Sport in 2005. David has also worked for the Australian Cricket Board, WA Cricket Association and WA Golf Association.

He took up the game at 12 at Wembley Golf Course in Perth before joining Mt Lawley Golf Club, and has been a member at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne’s south-east since 1990.
