Kay Mahlook Shield

The Shield was named after Ms Kay Mahlook in recognition of her outstanding contribution to junior golf, with the Shield evolving into a major event on the state Junior Calendar. The Shield has operated under various formats since 1987 and in recent years has been held in the Bendigo District.

In 2015 the Kay Mahlook Sheid will be contested for by district and club teams of three girls. 18 holes will be played on both Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of November, with the best two par scores per round from each team to count towards to the teams aggregate.

Country Regions Junior Competition

The Victorian Junior Boys Country Regions Competition is to be competed for annually by 16 District Golf Associations represented by teams of boys under 18 who will compete over 36 holes of stroke play. District Golf Associations are allocated into two Divisions; A Division and B Division. Each Division will comprise of eight District teams.

Division A will compete at the Heathcote Golf Club and Division B will compete at the Kyneton Golf Club.
