The first Rookie Series event at the Pitch n Putt for 2018 was played this morning in blistering conditions. Play commenced one hour earlier in an attempt to beat the heat but the mercury continued to rise early in the morning with play abandoned after 15 holes.

Jazy Roberts hoisted the trophy in the overall girl section with her impressive round of 46 today after 15 holes. This is now the ninth time Jazy has taken home the honours and now ties the long-term record held by Nasya Sohail. Lachlan Robinson fired a solid 47 to capture the overall boys title and under 16 category by a single shot. Lachlan’s sister, Taylah also had a successful day recording a win in the under 14 girls section.

Congratulations to all of the age division and NTP winners! The next Rookie event at the Pitch n Putt will be in the April school holidays on Friday 13th.
