The 2017 Mazda Victorian Four-Ball Championship has kicked off this weekend with qualifying rounds at Wangaratta GC on Sunday 8 January and Commonwealth GC today.

Results from each qualifiers were as follows:

Men’s Winner: Tony Goodison & Paul Judd (Wangaratta) – 46 pts
Men’s Runner-Up: John Wohlers & Nathan Bihun (Wangaratta) – 45 pts
Men’s Third: Andrew Murray & Paul Mitchell (Yarrawonga) – 44 pts

Women’s Winner: Linda Terry & Margaret Franke-Williams (Mansfield) – 44 pts c/b
Women’s Runner-Up: Robin Manfield & Lois Sanderson (Wangaratta) – 44 pts
Women’s Third: Sue Chatfield & Barb Woodward (Wangaratta) – 40 pts c/b

Mixed Winner: Richard Harnwell & Alison Comensoli (Wangaratta) – 46 pts
Mixed Runner-Up: Michael O’Donnell & Jill O’Donnell (Commerical Albury) – 45 pts

Women’s Winner: Cecily Pezet & Jan Kreymborg (Spring Valley) – 40 pts
Women’s Runner-Up: Anne Giddings & Rosalie Flynn (Latrobe) – 39 pts
Women’s Third: Kath Dellar & Helen Norton (East Geelong) – 37 pts c/b

Mixed Winner: Rohan Christie (Cape Schanck) & Carol Douglas (Yarra Yarra) – 38 pts c/b

Golf Victoria would like to thank Mazda Victoria for their continued support of the Championship. A brand new Mazda3 Maxx is up for grabs for any players that scores a hole in one on the designated par 3 at every qualifying venue and state final.

Places are still available at Northern GC this Thursday, along with all country venues excluding Barwon Heads & Portsea.
