Golf Month 2016 has seen over 1,300 activities and offers promoted across more than 400 golf clubs and facilities around Australia, and the success stories are rolling in. There really was something for everyone in October – from a biathlon of golf and fishing at Alyangula Golf Club in the Northern Territory to disc golf in the Granite Belt region of Queensland and everything in between!

A review is underway of this year's event. Clubs are encouraged to start planning ahead for October 2017 to make the most of the campaign.  For more information, go to www.golfmonth.com.au.

Recent social media marketing using the program’s ambassador Jason Day has contributed to the growth and momentum of MyGolf, Australia’s national junior introductory program. The program now has over 500 registered centres around the country and is tracking towards 10,000 participants in 2016-17.
Go with the strength of the national teaching program backed by Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia.

Swing Fit hits the Emirates Australian Open this November, with come-and-try sessions being held during the championship from Wed 16 – Sun 20 November at Woollahra Golf Club – next door to Royal Sydney Golf Club. Registration includes a free ticket to the Emirates Australian Open, so participants can enjoy watching the world’s best golfers after their session! The sessions are open to any female who is new to golf and wants to give it a go.  To register for a come-and-try Swing Fit session, visit www.swingfit.com.au, search postcode 2029 and click on Woollahra GC.
