OC Connections 22nd Annual Charity Golf Day at The Metropolitan

It’s the stuff of every golfing fanatic’s dreams: to play a round of 18 holes, following in the grassy footsteps of greats such as Greg Norman, Ernie Els, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer on one of Australia’s best courses. In fact, golfing heavyweights Vijay Singh, Robert Allenby and Geoff Ogilvy have rated The Metropolitan Golf Club in South Oakleigh as one of the best in the world.

Now OC Connections is proving that dreams can come true.

On Sunday 25 June, the disability services organisation will hold its 22nd annual charity golf day at The Metropolitan, providing the public with a rare opportunity to play at the prestigious club.

Each year since the 1960s, the Metropolitan has turned its course over to the OC Connections to stage its biggest annual fundraising event. Such is the attraction of playing the course; golfers from across Melbourne vie for the golden opportunity.

The day features a morning and afternoon Ambrose event, with a buffet lunch and exciting competitions on offer. Tickets are just $185 each ($700 for a team of four).

Golfers interested in ticking one off the bucket list can register at http://occonnections.org/golf-day/  or for further information contact OC Connections on T: 9569 0603.
