The inaugural Premier's Cup, to be held at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club on Monday 1st February 2016, has officially sold out.

Hosted by the Premier of Victoria, The Hon Daniel Andrews, in conjunction with the Australian Golf Industry Council (AGIC) the Premier's Cup will see the heavy hitters of Melbourne's corporate world, professional golf, government and celebrity showcase their golfing skills to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital.

Premier, Daniel Andrews said the event will be a wonderful opportunity for the Victorian community to support a fantastic cause – The Royal Children's Hospital.

"We all have a special place in our hearts for the little heroes at the Royal Children's Hospital. This charity event will bring together golfers from all walks of life to do their bit for a very worthy cause."

Chairman of the AGIC and PGA of Australia Chief Executive, Brian Thorburn said the inaugural Premier's Cup is an exciting step in combining the golf and business communities to promote the game while supporting the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.

"We have been overwhelmed with the response from companies who have pledged their support for this great initiative," Thorburn said.

"To reach the maximum number of teams almost a month out from the day is a great result and proves what a special place the Royal Children's Hospital has in the hearts of all Victorians," he continued.
