Vale - Ron Frost

 

The President, Board and Staff of Golf Victoria express their deepest sympathy at the passing of much respected former Victorian Golf Association (VGA) Council Member, Mr. Ron Frost, aged 83 years.

A former Captain and Board member at the Box Hill Golf Club, Ron was elected to the VGA Council in 2002. In his three years of VGA service, he made a significant contribution particularly in the areas of Junior Development; Events; Vic Open; Planning/Development and the Golf Victoria Magazine. Ron concluded his time on the VGA Council at the 2005 Annual Meeting.

Ron passed away on Friday 8 December 2017 and is survived by his wife Fay and children Lisa and Geoffrey.

The service to celebrate the life of Ron Frost will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home, 733 Boronia Rd, Wantirna on Wednesday 13 December commencing at 4.00 p. m. A Private Cremation will follow.

Golf Victoria’s sincere condolences are extended to the Frost family at this time. Ron was a genuine, friendly and dedicated man with a passion for golf and will be sadly missed.
