Victorian Junior Sandgreens Championships were run at Bannockburn Golf Club on Saturday September 2nd. Played in tough conditions and with sandgreens foreign to most of the competitiors, scores were understandbly high and the course definitely took the points on the day.

Mitchell Crabbe won the Boys title for the second consecutive year, by 2 shots from Thomas Hanson (Colac) & Jack Martin (Curlewis) while young up and coming Inverleigh golfer Ella Rogers took home the title in the girls event,

In the handicap events Nick Unsworth from Curlewis took out the event by 3 shots from Lockie Bath (Winchelsea) & Angus McKoy (The Sands)

The stableford players were the only ones to come close to conquering the course with local Bannckburn member Matthew Beasley returning a great score of 41pts followed by Bill Turner from Midlands Golf Club with 36pts. The girls Stableford was taken out by Sophie Hood from Portarlington.

Thank you to Max McLaren and his band of Bannockburn Golf Club members for there hospitality and assistance with the running of the event. We look forward to heading back out there next year.
