Victorian Junior Open

First run in 2013 in the lead up to the Victorian Open, the tournament provides a great opportunity for juniors to experience the environment of a professional event. There are two sections: stroke and stableford. With players off the daily handicap of 19 or less eligible to compete in the stroke section and boys with a daily handicap of 20 – 32 and girls with a daily handicap between 20 – 36 to compete in the stableford section.

First run in 2013 in the lead up to the Victorian Open, the former 18-hole tournament provided a great opportunity for juniors to experience the environment of a professional event. Following on from the recent success of the Oates Victorian Open, the Victorian Junior Open will now be played at 13th Beach Golf Links and Barwon Heads Golf Club as an Australian Ranked 72-hole tournament. All players will compete one round on the Beach and Creek courses at 13th Beach and one round at Barwon Heads before a 54-hole cut. Players that successfully make the cut will play the final round on the Beach Course at 13th Beach Golf Links.
